SUMMARY:The Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The Gathering is a showcase event highlighting choreography\, community\, and creativity. Each performance is a uniquely curated sample of San Diego’s dance companies and artists. This event\, co-produced by West Coast Dance Complex\, offers artists and audience members alike a chance to engage with one another in an intimate\, interactive format that encourages conversation and discovery. A community that dances together\, grows together. With this symbiotic relationship in mind\, ticket proceeds will fund emerging choreographers through the Orion Choreographic Fellowship. With The Gathering\, Ballet Counterpointe brings the members of the San Diego dance community together and provides a space where we can all appreciate and learn from each other’s work. A ticket offers you an up-close and personal experience with emerging and established artists. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with San Diego’s multifaceted dance culture.
