Under the artistic direction of Meenal Chakradeo\, MAPA’s repertory troupe is excited to present a traditional Kathak repertoire that celebrates the rich heritage of this classical dance form. The performance will include ‘Nritta’ (pure dance)\, emphasizing the rhythmic precision\, intricate footwork\, and dynamic spins of Kathak set to the vibrant beats of Taal. This will be complemented by ‘Abhinaya’ (emotive acting)\, where graceful movements will weave expressive storytelling\, bringing emotions and narratives to life. The traditional repertoire\, including Vandana\, Taal\, and Abhinaya\, will encapsulate the essence of Kathak\, seamlessly blending artistry and tradition while paying tribute to the dance form’s purest beauty.
