DESCRIPTION:The Gathering is a showcase event highlighting choreography\, community\, and creativity. Each performance is a uniquely curated sample of San Diego’s dance companies and artists. This event\, co-produced by Ballet Counterpointe and West Coast Dance Complex\, offers artists and audience members alike a chance to engage with one another in an intimate\, interactive format that encourages conversation and discovery. \nA community that dances together\, grows together. With this symbiotic relationship in mind\, ticket proceeds will fund emerging choreographers through the Orion Choreographic Fellowship. Awardees will have the opportunity for their work to be shown at future Gathering performances and to share their works in progress with the community’s support. \nWith The Gathering\, Ballet Counterpointe brings the members of the San Diego dance community together and provides a space where we can all appreciate and learn from each other’s work. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our annual Adult Ballet Intensive in San Diego\, CA! \nPas De Deux Workshops & Coaching is delighted to welcome you to this unique program\, presented in partnership with the esteemed teacher and coach Robyn Segel Shifren. \nThis summer\, you will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the world of ballet\, improve your technique\, and experience the beauty of this timeless art form. We offer five hours of instruction each day\, including a 30-minute lunch break. Participants may choose to attend the full intensive or participate on a partial schedule. \nIn addition\, we are proud to be the only adult intensive in Southern California that offers pas de deux as part of its curriculum. The program is designed for intermediate to advanced dancers; however\, beginner dancers are also welcome to participate\, with the understanding that the curriculum is primarily geared toward more experienced students. Male participants are encouraged to join as well\, please reach out to us for specific pricing and class information. \nOur team of seasoned instructors is committed to helping you reach your full potential. You will receive personalized attention\, constructive feedback\, and valuable insights to enhance your skills and deepen your understanding of ballet.
