Claudia Gomez Eikam is a San Diego-based tap dancer, choreographer, educator, and community arts advocate dedicated to preserving and celebrating jazz and tap dance through performance, education, and cultural programming. She is the founder and artistic director of the annual San Diego Tap & Jazz Dance Festival, presented through a public charter school nonprofit 501(c)(3) at Keiller Leadership Academy, where she also serves as a TK–8th grade dance educator. Through her work in the school and broader community, Claudia creates accessible arts opportunities for youth, adults, and emerging artists throughout San Diego.

Claudia has performed with bands in New Orleans, New York, and throughout Southern California alongside artists including Gilbert Castellanos and with groups such as Besos de Coco, Besos Jazz Trio, and The Hot Club of Bird Park. Through productions including *The Cherries Jubilee Jazz Cabaret Show* and *Olio The Show*, she blends live music, dance, storytelling, and community engagement with warmth, professionalism, and joy. Claudia is passionate about strengthening visibility and support for local artists and arts organizations in San Diego and believes deeply in the power of the arts to connect, uplift, and inspire communities.
