Culture Shock® San Diego is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit Hip Hop dance organization dedicated to innovative performance, artist development, and community outreach. Dance education and training is offered through two components. Culture Shock’s Training Academy offers classes to the broader community with class offerings to a variety of skill levels. Culture Shock’s youth and adult Troupe Program is geared towards dancers that would like more intensive training and performance opportunities.

WHY WE ARE IMPORTANT:
Operating in a non-profit capacity ensures that we are able to foster as many dancers as possible, from various social and socioeconomic backgrounds. This guarantees that our service to the community reflects our mission to cultivate education, entertainment, and empowerment to inspire positive change within the communities that we serve.

We are a troupe of individuals who, through the power of music and dance, cultivate self-worth, dignity, and respect for all people throughout our global community.

WHAT WE DO:
Providing dance classes, rehearsal experience, and performance opportunities helps dancers of all ages in physical strength, mental stability, and self-confidence. Our dancers gain a network of lifetime supporters.
