Acting for Dancers

Lifelong dancer and performing arts educator Kirsten Long is the creative director of Moving aLong, a program bringing a variety of dance, movement and drama to students of all ages and abilities. Her teachings pull from a career as a soloist with New York City ballet companies, a professional background in modern, jazz & folk dance, a member of Los Angeles theater companies and roles in film & television. Represented by MTM Agency Kirsten is a working actor, model and choreographer whose classes focus on intention and technique with an emphasis on authentic expression and the importance of play. Classes take place at Ballet Arte in Solana Beach: Preteens Wednesdays, July 8th & 15th 2:00 – 3PM Teens & young adults Wednesday, July 29th 3:00 – 4PM
