San Diego Dance Convening #4

Join us for the fourth San Diego Dance Convening in collaboration with Grossmont College Dance for an afternoon of connection.

This convening is an opportunity to connect with fellow dance community members who are shaping dance across San Diego County. Together, we’ll continue exploring what it means to build a thriving and sustainable dance ecosystem and how each of us can contribute to its future.

This gathering will feature a special speaker panel, “Professional Pathways in Dance: Exploring the many possibilities of desiging a career in dance” featuring panelists Rebecca Farrant, Founder & CEO of La Vie Dance Studios, Brian Bennett, Company Dancer at The Rosin Box Project, Melissa Adao (aka Bgirl MEL), Dancer, Choreographer, Educator, & Co-Founder of THE CONFIDENT DANCERS, and Gina Bolles Sorensen, Choreographer, Educator, Grossmont College Dance Department Chair.

Together, we’ll explore the multitude of ways of how a career in dance can look. This conversation is an invitation to see how we all play a role in San Diego’s dance scene.

Come meet new dance connections, exchange ideas, and help shape what comes next for San Diego Dance!
