A Step Beyond is a Creative Youth Development organization serving youth and their families living at or below the poverty line with free after-school dance classes, academic support, and social services. At our annual auditions, youth come learn a dance, perform in front of the judges, and parents receive an orientation on what to expect and commitments. They must wear clothes to move in, dance barefoot, and bring water. Parents must accompany their child and attend an informational meeting. Our auditions will be in the month of September.
