Hi! I’m Emma Lias – a full time professional American Rhythm Dancer (Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Mambo) offering partner dancing lessons to dancers of any age, experience, or background (no partner required!). After 17 years as a ballerina, a stint in circus and acrobatics, and a break for a degree from UC San Diego, I ultimately returned to dance launching a successful competitive partnership and a full time teaching practice. I teach all styles of partner dance: American Rhythm and Smooth, International Latin and Standard, Nightclub, and West Coast Swing; my greatest joy comes from meeting dancers where they are, finding what makes them the most fulfilled, and offering an outlet for self expression and development. I teach private lessons, group classes, participate in Pro/Am competition, and am able to teach large groups for events. I’d love to get you out onto the floor!
