SAMEDA is a non profit organization dedicated to enriching and educating the public about Middle Eastern dance, music and culture. The President is Ana Goebel, VP is Lucia Yturralde and Secretary, Susan Teal. We offer several events per year, including an annual faire featuring notable professionals in ME dance, with performance and vending opportunities. We advertise and promote members’ events. Our goal is also to collaborate with other artists to support diversity, to network and to build a stronger dance community in Southern California.
